Just finished Squid Game and I'm annoyed

I finally gave in and watched Squid Game last weekend after like 2 years of people yelling at me to see it. Made it through the whole first season in 3 days and honestly the ending felt super rushed like they just gave up on wrapping things up. Am I the only one who thought season 1 left way too many loose ends hanging around?

Gi-hun's haircut and airport scene alone made the ending worth it for me. They set up season 2 with that final phone call, not like they forgot plot threads. The recruiter angle, the organ harvesting side plot, those are meant to feel unfinished because the game itself is ongoing. A clean wrap up would have killed the whole point about systemic greed never really ending.

Seriously? The haircut and airport scene are what made it worth it for you @rosek73? I mean the guy looked like he got a buzzcut from a blind barber with a hangover. That final phone call was good and all but the organ harvesting thing just feels like they ran out of time and threw it in there to look deep. Clean wrap up? Season 2 better have some actual answers or we're all just watching a rich guy get a bad haircut for nothing.
