Unpopular opinion: I think we overcomplicate tubeless setup for beginners
I was at the shop in Boulder last week and a new guy was really stressing about getting a perfect seal on his first tubeless conversion. He'd watched a bunch of videos saying you need a compressor, special sealant, and to bounce the tire for 10 minutes. I told him to just use a regular floor pump, the Stan's sealant we had, and to go for a quick ride around the block to slosh it around. It sealed up fine in under 5 miles. Are we scaring people off by making it sound like rocket science? What's the simplest tubeless advice you give to a nervous customer?
