Debated between a corded and cordless shop vac for my garage setup last month

I went with the cordless because I was tired of dragging a hose across the floor, and after three days of cleanup on a dusty shelf project, I am kicking myself for not grabbing the one with more suction power; has anyone else regretted a battery-powered tool choice?

Tbh I went through the exact same struggle last month with my garage setup. The cordless models are amazing for quick pickups but when you actually need to do a deep clean on sawdust or really fine particles nothing beats the raw power of a corded unit. Ngl I ended up buying a cheap corded vac to keep alongside my battery one so I can grab whichever fits the job. The extra suction on the corded one makes a huge difference for the messy projects.

Having both on hand is the pro move honestly, the cordless for quick grabs and the corded for when you need to actually move some air. That dust collection difference is painful until you feel it.
