Serious question, I always thought not listing nuts in my treats was okay, but a friend's allergy scare convinced me it's not.

Always list allergens, it's a safety thing not just courtesy.

Yeah, that's a hard lesson to learn. My cousin made a batch of brownies for a school thing once, used a spoon she'd stirred peanut butter with earlier. Didn't even cross her mind. Kid ended up needing an epi pen. It's the hidden stuff, the cross contact, that gets you. You just don't think about it until something bad happens.
