Found a map of the US from a gas station near Buffalo that put Lake Michigan where Lake Erie should be
I stopped for gas outside Buffalo last week and grabbed a cheap road map from the rack. Got home and realized it had Lake Michigan smack in the middle of where Lake Erie sits, with Cleveland somehow floating inland. The crazy part is the map was printed by a company based in Ohio. Anyone else stumble across a map that just gave up on basic geography?

Reminds me of a map I picked up at a truck stop in Wyoming that showed the Great Salt Lake as a tiny blue dot the size of a pimple. Me and my buddy Dave drove like 30 miles out of our way looking for this "massive lake" and found a puddle with some salty rocks. Worst part is the map said the lake was connected to the ocean through some canal that definitely doesn't exist. Did you keep that map or toss it?

Frame that sucker and hang it in your garage as a warning to others.
