After a tricky antenna fix, I'm convinced we rely too much on diagnostic computers.

I mean, idk, maybe it's just me but I've seen this happen a lot lately. Like with that antenna issue, the system said it was fine, but signal was weak. I had to trace the cable and found a crack in the shielding. If we just go by what the computer says, we'd never catch these small things. It feels like we're losing the ability to troubleshoot without a screen. New techs seem to panic when the tools don't give a clear answer, and I worry that makes us less capable in the long run.

Computers catch stuff we'd never spot ourselves though.

Yeah it's wild how much slips past us. Like those tiny patterns in data or weird code bugs that only show up at 3am. Feels like having a second brain that never gets tired. Kinda makes you wonder what else we're missing without them.
