My uncle told me to use a torch on my rusty exhaust bolts, worst advice I've ever taken
He swore by it from his days working on old Fords, but I ended up melting a brake line and warping the flange on my 2004 Tacoma. Anyone got a better trick for stubborn manifold bolts that doesn't involve fire?

Heat is actually the right call, just not an open flame. Get a MAPP gas torch, the yellow bottle, and heat the bolt head till it turns cherry red then touch it with a candle or crayon. The wax wicks into the threads and it'll back right out. Works way better than PB Blaster ever will. Uncle wasn't wrong, he just told you the dumb version.
