my buddy bought a 2014 civic with 280k on it last year and that thing has been dead reliable, he just does oil changes and basic stuff. but i also know someone else who got a similar mileage car and it fell apart in six months. honestly it all comes down to how the previous owner treated it, not just the number on the dash.
