I used to swear by cheap filler, but I was dead wrong
For years I bought the cheapest bondo I could find thinking it all sanded the same. Then I tried Rage Gold on a 2018 Honda Civic rear quarter panel last month and I'll never go back. The way it spreads and doesn't leave pinholes saved me about 2 hours of sanding time. Anyone else see a big difference with premium fillers or am I just getting old?

Spending more on the good stuff upfront almost always saves time and headaches in the long run.

About 8 years ago I grabbed a $40 air fryer from a discount store and it died after 3 months. The plastic handles actually started to melt which was pretty scary. After that I saved up and got a higher end model for around $150 and it's still going strong today. @lee.coole I totally agree that you pay for it one way or another, either with cash upfront or with time dealing with junk. That first cheap one cost me more in frustration and wasted food than just buying decent gear from the start. I still try to save money where it makes sense but not on things that plug in or touch my food anymore.
