Decided to paint a bumper with a roller instead of a spray gun
So last week I had a beater Civic in the shop and thought hey, why not try a foam roller for the bumper instead of dragging out the gun. Figured it'd save time on cleanup. Well, the paint went on smooth enough, but then I left it to dry in the sun and came back to a fuzzy mess because the roller left little fibers all over. Looked like the bumper grew a beard overnight. Learned my lesson real quick: stick with the gun for anything bigger than a touch-up. Has anyone else tried some half-baked shortcut that blew up in your face?

Did you sand the roller fibers off before clear coat?
