Spent a whole Saturday afternoon just trying to get the carburetor float height right on my old Honda 300 FourTrax
Had to pull it apart three times because the fuel kept overflowing, and I finally realized I was bending the tab in the wrong direction after watching a 10 year old forum video from some guy in Texas, has anyone else had a simple adjustment turn into a full day project?

Man I feel your pain. Spent an entire day on a Yamaha Blaster carb because I was turning the air screw the wrong way. Had the manual right there but kept second guessing myself. Finally called my buddy who used to race them and he talked me through it in like five minutes.

Three times huh? That's brutal. @parker_foster53 knows the pain too - sometimes you just gotta step back and call someone. I did the same thing on a Blaster carb. Air screw was all the way in when it should've been 1.5 turns out. Spent three hours flooding the engine before I gave up and FaceTimed my cousin in Ohio. He laughed at me for ten seconds then fixed it.
