Stacking 10 vs 100 photos of Andromeda is a total game changer

I finally sat down and compared a quick 10 frame stack to a full 100 frame stack I did of M31 last month. The difference in noise reduction and detail on the dust lanes was insane, the 100 frame version looked like a completely different galaxy. I used DeepSkyStacker with my Canon 60D and a 200mm lens from a Bortle 5 zone. Has anyone else had a similar jump when they pushed their integration time way up?

Heard on a podcast once that going from 30 minutes to 6 hours is where the real magic happens. Your 100 frame stack sounds like it really brought out the dust lanes.

Yeah @felix385 nailed it, I just wish my back could handle sitting out for six hours of data.
