Bought a 40 buck used CRT monitor off Craigslist and it saved me from digital eye strain after 2 weeks of headaches

Paid $40 for a beat up Dell CRT from 2002 and now I can stare at code for 8 hours without my eyes burning, anyone else find old glass screens way easier on the eyes than modern LCDs?

Oh come on, "saved me from eye strain"... you're seriously telling me that a 20 year old flickering tube monitor at 60hz is better for your eyes than a modern LCD with proper backlight adjustment? I tried that route and got worse headaches from the refresh rate than any LED panel ever gave me.

Give it a rest, Fiona. That old monitor hurt my eyes way less than these new ones do.
