Wasted $12 on a frozen pizza that turned into a soggy mess in the air fryer

Tried cooking a DiGiorno rising crust pizza in my air fryer basket last week, thinking it would be faster than the oven. It just dripped cheese and sauce everywhere and the middle was still doughy. I had to throw the whole thing out. Anyone have a good method for air fryer pizza that actually works?

Just preheat the basket first.

Preheating is key for real. That cold basket makes everything soggy.

Honestly that soggy mess is a total air fryer classic. Tbh those rising crust ones are basically designed to steam themselves in there. Ngl you gotta treat it like a tiny oven and use a pan or some foil with holes poked in it to catch the drips. Crank the heat a bit lower than the box says and give it more time, it's not really a speed thing.
