Tried to automate my morning coffee routine with a smart plug and it took 4 hours to set up

I bought a Kasa smart plug last week to have my Mr. Coffee turn on at 6am automatically. Took me forever to sync it with the app cause my wifi keeps dropping in the kitchen near the fridge. Then the timer reset after a power flicker and I woke up to cold grounds. Has anyone found a smart plug that actually remembers schedules after a brownout?

Four hours of setup for coffee is wild, just deal with cold coffee for one morning.

4am this morning I was literally doing the same thing. Had to take apart the grinder, descale the machine. Took me damn near 3 hours. @charliep79 I used to think people were crazy for spending that time. But then I had a bad batch of coffee from a rushed morning. Tasted like burnt rubber. Never again. That setup time is insurance against a terrible cup. Cold coffee is bad but bad hot coffee is worse.
