Checked out that AI art gallery in Santa Fe last weekend

Saw a piece that was entirely generated by a neural net trained on southwestern landscapes and the colors were weirdly perfect. The artist told me it took 40 hours of tweaking prompts to get it right. Anyone else think AI art lacks that human imperfection or is that the whole point?
