Am I the only one who thinks AI art tools are making people lazy?

I was scrolling through a design forum last night and saw someone post a logo they made with DALL-E 3 in about 30 seconds. They were bragging about it, but the thing had 8 fingers on a hand and the text was gibberish. Nobody in the comments even called it out. I get that these tools are useful for rough drafts, but if you can't spot basic errors like that, what are you even doing? Has anyone else had to unfollow a subreddit because it turned into nothing but low-effort AI slop?

lol the real problem is these tools are training people to ignore bad design instincts.

Yeah just what we need, a generation of designers who think slapping a gradient on a button counts as "art direction." Now people can crank out fifty logos an hour without ever learning why half of them look like trash.
