Saw a drip of coffee on a napkin that looked exactly like a forest silhouette

I was about to toss it but stopped and just stared for a minute. There was this tiny stream that looked like a river cutting through the trees, all just from me setting down a mug too fast. Has anyone else snapped a picture of something like that before tossing it?

For real, coffee stain art is underrated. I actually have a folder on my phone full of random drip marks and burnt toast patterns lol. Flat lighting really does make the difference, never thought about that trick before.

Never toss it right away. What works great is keeping a paper towel or napkin nearby when you brew, then pressing the mug down on purpose to see what shapes you get. I did that once and got a perfect abstract map of a coastline, still have it saved as a phone wallpaper. Flat lighting is key, hold it up to a window or lamp so the shadows pop.

That's a cool way to find art in everyday stuff.
