My kid's sidewalk chalk melted in the sun and made something wild
Left a bucket of those fat chalk sticks on the patio last Tuesday when it hit 95 degrees here. Came back a few hours later and they'd all melted together into this swirl of colors, like a weird tie-dye puddle on the concrete. I snapped a picture because it looked like some abstract painting, all pinks and blues blending. Has anyone else had something totally random turn into a cool pattern like that?

Melted chalk is a pretty low bar for abstract art. It's basically just colored wax doing what wax does in heat. People see patterns in spilled coffee or cracked pavement too. Not sure a puddle of goop on the patio needs a photo shoot.

You're not wrong about that.
