Frozen puddle on my driveway looked like a stained glass window this morning
Went out to get the paper around 7am last Tuesday. There was this thin layer of ice on the concrete with leaves trapped underneath. The sun hit it just right and it shined all blue and orange. I took like ten photos before it melted. Kinda made me want to frame one of them.

Honestly I had a similar thing happen last winter with a puddle on my back porch. The leaf under it was a perfect maple leaf that turned the ice all red and gold. I ended up taking a ton of photos too and just a few days ago I printed one out on regular paper and stuck it in a cheap frame from the dollar store. It's sitting on my desk right now and it's honestly one of my favorite little decorations. Ngl I think it's crazy how something so temporary can look so cool if you catch it at the right moment.

lol "something so temporary can look so cool" - thats literally my whole personality in a nutshell. I once took a picture of a weird frost pattern on my car window that looked exactly like a dragon, printed it out, and my girlfriend was like "babe that's just a blurry photo of ice." I still have it in a drawer somewhere though. Its wild how those random fleeting moments can become weird little treasures even if nobody else gets it.

I gotta disagree with you a little though. Sure it looked cool in the moment but framing a cheap print of a puddle seems kinda forced to me. Those things are meant to be fleeting and that's what makes them special, you know?
