Found a 1997 site about the world's largest ball of twine that still has a working webcam

I was looking for info on roadside attractions and ended up on this old GeoCities page for the 'Twine Ball of Cawker City, Kansas'. The whole thing is bright yellow with a tiled background of little red strings. It has a visitor counter that says 'You are number 12,478!' and a MIDI file of 'The Ballad of the Twine' that auto-plays. But the best part is the webcam link. I clicked it, and after a solid minute of loading, it showed a live, grainy shot of the actual ball of twine sitting in a little park shelter. The timestamp said 1997, but it was clearly still updating. I just sat there for like ten minutes watching a ball of string on a webcam from the last century. Has anyone else found a site like this where the old tech is still running?

Is it really that deep though? It's just an old website that never got turned off.

Watching a ball of string for ten minutes" is a pretty low bar for what counts as interesting.
