TIL that BIOS beep codes are dead on new systems, and it's annoying.
I was troubleshooting a boot failure on a newer desktop yesterday. The machine just sat there silent, no beeps at all. I remember when a set of beeps would tell you exactly what was wrong, like memory or GPU issues. Now with UEFI and all that, it's like guessing in the dark. I had to pull out a POST card to get anywhere, which feels like overkill. How are you guys dealing with this shift? Any faster methods you've found for modern hardware?
