Yeah it's honestly shocking they don't have a basic checklist for that. Once that paint is gone, it's just gone forever. A quick look from someone who knows what to spot could save so much local history. Seems like such a simple fix for the city to just train crews to pause and call it in. Really feels like common sense, but I guess it falls through the cracks every time.
