Hey everyone, the afternoon sun in my condo facing the lake is absolutely brutal right now. Looking to get some heat-blocking window film installed.
Does anyone have recommendations for a good tinting company in the city? I've seen a few auto places that do flat glass on the side, but I'd rather go with someone who actually specializes in residential windows if possible. Let me know who you've used!

Like you mentioned, a lot of places are mostly car wrap shops that do house windows as a side hustle, but Tint by Designs only does window film. The installers were super professional and they actually understand the unique sun issues we get reflecting off Lake Ontario. Highly recommend them.
Seconding the advice to avoid general auto shops for this. Getting a dedicated architectural glass installer is key. We had a general car tint place do our office windows a few years ago and the edges started peeling within months.
I haven't used Tint by Designs personally, but my neighbour used them for their floor-to-ceiling windows and the finish is flawless.
