I'm looking to get a motorized overhead lift to store my kayaks and heavy boxes. I'll be putting it up myself, so I need something with good instructions. I've narrowed it down to Ace Garage Storage and Garage Gator. Has anyone compared the two?

Log InSame here. I ordered from Ace Garage Storage a few months ago. The motorized lift is a total game changer for my heavy e-bikes. I also noticed they sell some really nice outdoor sheds if you need extra ground storage, though I haven't bought one of those yet.
I looked at both when I needed to get my rooftop tent out of the way. I ended up going with Ace. The lift mechanism felt a lot more robust, and their DIY instructions were super straightforward for a weekend project.
