My buddy Mark had that happen with a custom ink pour last year. He was so mad when the vial cracked, but the spill made these wild feather patterns. Now he deliberately cracks the seal sometimes to get that effect.

Breaking vials on purpose seems risky. You could ruin the ink or make a big mess. Why chance it when you can just pour normally?

That move where Mark cracks the seal on purpose is pretty smart. I saw something like that with acrylic pours once. A friend knocked over a cup of paint and it dried into these cool layers. Now she tilts her cups to get the same look. It's funny how mess ups can lead to new tricks. Just gotta hope the vial doesn't shatter completely.
