Checked my old phone's battery cycle count and it was at 1,847...
That's on a Samsung Galaxy S10 I bought new in 2019. I was just curious how worn it was, but seeing that number made me think about how much I've actually used the thing over the years. Anyone else ever check their old gadget stats and get surprised by the mileage?

That's a good point from @noahhernandez. Would it be a story of slow decay, or a bunch of quick, sharp shocks? The life cycle of a simple object can hold a lot.
