A client's 'simple' logo revision ate up my entire Tuesday

They wanted the blue 'just a bit warmer', which turned into 47 back and forth emails over 8 hours. Anyone else have a tiny request that exploded into a full day?

Oh man, that sounds so familiar. Been there with the "just a little" change that ends up taking over the whole day. It's always a color or moving something two pixels. You start wondering if they can even see the difference after the tenth version. Feels like you're going in circles for no real reason.

But what if those tiny changes actually matter? I've found clients notice the small stuff way more than we think. That two pixel shift might be what makes a layout feel balanced to them, even if they can't explain why. It feels like going in circles to us because we're deep in the details, but for them it's about getting it just right. The tenth version is frustrating, but sometimes that's what it takes to land on the one that finally clicks.
