My dad told me to check the local library's old magazine section for hobby ideas...

I found a 1998 issue of 'Model Railroader' with a full layout plan for a town called Mill Creek. It's way better than anything I see online now. Anyone know other places to find old hobby stuff like that?

Actually used to think those old plans were outdated, but man they have a charm you just don't find anymore.

Ever check estate sales? Found a whole box of old hobby mags at one last month. The older stuff just has better ideas sometimes.
