Question about a strange photo album I found at a yard sale in Boise

I bought a box of old stuff for five dollars at a sale last month, and inside was a photo album filled with pictures of a man and his prize-winning turnips. Every page was turnips. My wife said, 'Terry, that's not a find, that's someone else's junk.' So now I only buy single, clearly odd items, like the ceramic squirrel bank I got yesterday. Has anyone else had a family member talk them out of a bulk purchase?

Yeah, @morgan_ward61, it got me thinking about how weird it is that we only really hear music from big cities. Like, who was the person in some small town who decided to make a whole album about turnips? What was their life like? Makes you wonder what other strange local records are out there, just sitting in basements.
