Found a notebook in a thrift store with a story about a hidden garden

I bought a cheap notebook at a thrift store in Tacoma for 50 cents. Inside, someone wrote a story about a hidden garden behind their childhood home. It was detailed, with drawings of plants. The weird part is, I looked up the street name online. The house is real, but there's no garden there now. It made me wonder if the story was a memory or a wish. Has anyone else found a notebook story that felt like a real place you could check?

Maybe the garden's still there, just hidden.

But if it's hidden, how would we even know it's still there? You'd need some kind of sign or clue, right? Otherwise it's just gone.
