Found a notebook in a coffee shop that just... stopped

It was a black Moleskine left on a table at The Daily Grind, full of these amazing sci-fi sketches and worldbuilding notes. The last entry is just 'The signal is breaking up...' and then nothing but blank pages for the rest of the book. What do you even do with a story that cuts off like that?

I mean, I'd just leave it with the barista. They usually have a lost and found for this exact thing.

That line about the signal breaking up really got me. I used to hate finding stuff like that, it felt like a puzzle missing half the pieces. But now I kind of love the empty pages at the end. It means the story isn't over, you know? The person who wrote it just walked away with the rest of it still in their head.
