Tried glueing down LVP in a basement last week... bad idea
I've always floated click-lock flooring in basements but figured glue-down would be more stable. Used the same glue I always use for sheet vinyl and boy did that stuff bubble up through the joints after three days. Learned real quick that glue-down luxury vinyl needs forced air circulating for at least 48 hours before you walk on it. Anyone else make this mistake or just me?
Does that mean you're actually drinking it now, or are you still letting it sit just to be safe? I've had batches that looked clear after a few days but still had some sediment dropping later.
