That's brutal, sorry that happened. It's a good reminder to always get your own inspector instead of using the realtor's pick. Those referrals can get a bit too cozy sometimes.

Wait, was your realtor the one who recommended the inspector? That's just shady all around... I had a friend who went with her realtor's pick and the guy missed a whole leaky roof. She ended up spending way more fixing it than she saved on the inspection fee. Some people just don't get how important it is to have someone who's actually looking out for you, not just doing a favor for the realtor.
