A single roll of Tri-X and a broken-down bus in Tucson
My car died in a grocery store lot, so I shot the whole roll waiting for the tow. The light on the cracked asphalt and the mechanic's stained hands came out perfectly. Has anyone else had a bad day turn into a good photo set?

The light on the cracked asphalt came out perfectly" is such a specific win. Did you plan those shots while you were just sitting there annoyed, or did you only realize you had something good once you got the scans back?
