Hot take: I just hit 50 sketches for a single asymmetrical sleeve concept and it made me question if over-designing ruins the original spark.
One side says meticulous iteration is how you find the perfect line, but the other argues you should stop at the first 10 drafts that feel right and move on.

Wades76 has a point about moving lines out of habit. Reminds me of a friend who repainted the same wall for a week, each time a slightly different shade of white. The room just ended up smelling like fumes and regret. You can sand down a good idea until there's nothing left to hold onto.

Over-designing ruins the original spark" is a heavy thought for some drawings... it's just a sleeve. You already did 50 sketches, so the core idea is clearly there. At some point you're just moving lines around out of habit, not making it better. The first 10 drafts probably had the real energy.
