Found a barista in Portland who looked exactly like Ryan Gosling, but the real trick was the lighting trick I tried for the photo
I was at this coffee spot on SE Division and saw this guy who was a dead ringer for Ryan Gosling in Drive. My first few pics came out blurry because of the weird overhead lights. Then I angled my phone to catch the window light hitting his face just right, and it totally popped the resemblance. Has anyone else messed with natural light to make their lookalike shots actually work?

Nah, that's just bad lighting making it look more like him.

Exactly! I swear lighting can make anyone look like someone they're not. I once had a photo of me at a dimly lit wedding where everyone thought I was my cousin Mike. We don't even look that much alike in person but the shadows and that yellow light totally changed my face shape. It's wild how much a bad angle or weird shadow can mess with your perception of someone. So yeah, I'm with you on this one.
