PSA: The corner mailbox has started getting mail for houses three streets over.

When I was a kid, the mail carrier knew everyone by name. Now with all the new buildings, even the mailbox seems confused, mixing up addresses like it's playing a game.

Honestly, the old system probably couldn't handle today's amount anyway. A few mixed up letters is a small price for getting so much delivered fast. It's just growing pains for a busier neighborhood.

Look at what happens when bills go to the wrong house. People miss payments and get hit with late fees. Imagine a check getting lost or important mail ending up with a neighbor. Calling that just "growing pains" seems way too relaxed, lol. It's not only about fast delivery but also about basic reliability. Mixing up letters can cause real problems, not just small annoyances.

Wow, I used to brush this stuff off too! But Richard's right about bills and checks, that's serious. Guess I need to take mail mix-ups more seriously now.
