Had a random chat with a cashier that made me rethink my grocery list
I was at the checkout line at Kroger yesterday and the cashier pointed out that I buy the same 6 items every week and asked if I ever try new things. She said 'you might be missing out on a whole aisle of fun stuff' and it really hit me how stuck in a rut I am with my meals. Has anyone else had a stranger point out a habit you didn't even notice?

It's funny how a stranger can spot our routines before we even see them.

I mean, that cashier calling out your same 6 items is actually kind of a gift. If you want to shake things up without going crazy, just swap one new ingredient into your usual routine, like a different vegetable or a new sauce. It's worked for me, makes cooking feel fresh without having to learn a whole new recipe.
