Saw a salon in Austin offering a 'facial membership' for $59 a month
It includes one basic facial and 20% off add-ons. I'm torn between thinking it's a smart way to lock in regular clients or that it cheapens the service. What's your take on subscription models for facials?

Remember my gym tried a subscription for smoothies and it felt weird paying monthly for something I could just buy. That facial deal sounds okay if you go a lot, but it would stress me out feeling like I had to use it every month. These plans can make a nice treat start to feel like a chore you're wasting money on. I'd probably just save up and book a fancy facial when I really want one instead.

Forget the guilt, just cancel if you skip a month.
