Bought a $400 laser level for a high-rise job in Seattle and it was worth every penny
Remember trying to line up guide rails with a plumb bob and a prayer? I finally caved and got a DeWalt DW088K. The first time I used it on a 30-story building, I had the rails set perfectly in under an hour. It felt like cheating compared to the old way. Anyone still using the string and weight method, or have you all switched over?
