Finally bit the bullet on a proper thermal imager for the truck
Dropped about $700 on a Flir One Pro last year after a buddy kept pushing it. Used it last week on a call for a flickering light complaint, found a hot neutral in a junction box behind drywall in under two minutes. Customer was amazed we didn't have to start cutting holes. What other tools have you guys bought that seemed like a luxury but ended up being a total game changer on routine jobs?

That's a killer use case for it. I'm curious if you've found it pays for itself on residential calls, or if it's mostly for commercial work where the problems are bigger.
