Am I the only one who used to just twist wire nuts on by hand?

I was doing a kitchen rewire in a 1920s bungalow last Tuesday and my foreman saw me doing it. He handed me his Wera screwdriver and told me to use the square shaft to tighten the nut after twisting it on. I haven't had a single call back for a loose connection since I started doing that. What's one simple tool trick that changed your work for the better?

Man, that's a solid tip. I used to just hand-tighten them too and wondered why some would work loose later. Using a screwdriver like that makes so much sense, doesn't it?

Tried that trick last year after a loose nut caused a flickering light. Now I keep a cheap flathead just for wire nuts, works every time.
