Checked out that new flooring place on 99 Street

Went to that new tile and hardwood place that opened up near the old Rona. They had a whole display of laminate that looked like it was made for a spaceship, silver and shiny. Has anyone else seen that stuff or am I just out of touch with current trends?

Dont waste your time with that silver laminate junk. That stuff is just a gimmick for people who want their house to look like a nightclub bathroom. Real hardwood or even ceramic tile is going to outlast that plastic spaceship floor by decades. I saw a piece of that laminate in the store it felt like cheap puzzle pieces that would warp the first time you mop it. Stick with something that actually looks like wood or stone not like a kitchen countertop.

Gotta disagree with @lee.cole here, laminate is way tougher than people give it credit for lol.
