Finally cleared that 6-foot silt logjam in the Des Moines River channel after three days of fighting it
The cutterhead kept binding up, so I ended up using a small grapple from the service barge to pull the worst of the root mass free by hand. Anyone have a better trick for when the bucket just won't bite?
Honestly though, is it really that bad? People throw the word nightmare around for stuff that's just a hassle... seems like we save the big words for actual disasters.
