Just realized the old guy at the blueprint shop was right about lead holders
He told me he's used the same Koh-I-Noor 5611 for 30 years and never had a clutch fail. I've been through three cheaper plastic ones in the last year, always blaming the lead. Has anyone else had a specific tool that just outlasted everything else?
