I just hit 50 hours on a single paint job and it made me rethink my whole process.
Half the people I talk to say you should just roll it on fast and call it good, but the other half swear by taking your time with a brush for every cut-in, so which side are you on for a project that really matters?

Yeah but Dylan, don't those wavy roller marks drive you crazy in the right light?

Depends on the room for me. If it's a high traffic area like a hallway, rolling gets it done and holds up fine. But for something like a main living room where light hits the walls just right, cutting in with a brush avoids those wavy lines you get from a roller near the trim. The extra time shows in the finish.

My last paint job took me three days just to do the trim because I kept re-cutting the same line. I'm definitely on team "take forever and still mess it up." What's your secret for keeping a steady hand?
