PSA: Wayback Machine saved my old Geocities shrine I thought was gone forever

Was cleaning out my bookmarks last night and found a link to my old Geocities page from 2002. The site was down for years, but I threw the URL into archive.org and it pulled up the whole thing - animated gifs, guestbook entries, even my cringey 'under construction' banner. Took about 10 minutes to dig through the snapshots. Has anyone else had luck rescuing their old stuff from those early hosting sites?

Man same here honestly. Wayback always seemed like some nerdy tool for tech people or whatever. But then I needed to check an old version of a site for a project and it saved me big time. It had screenshots from like 5 years ago that I couldn't find anywhere else. Now I use it all the time for research or just out of curiosity. It's crazy how much stuff disappears from the internet without it. Total game changer once you actually give it a shot.
