I finally looked up the original 'Hamster Dance' site and people keep saying it was from 1999

I saw a post here linking to a copy on a 2002 archive, but the real site went up in 1998. I checked the WHOIS records and the earliest capture on the Wayback Machine. It matters because it shows how fast early viral stuff spread before social media. Anyone know other sites that got their dates wrong in the archives?

My old GeoCities page is archived with the wrong year too, drives me nuts.
