Hot take: I assumed visa runs were no problem until a border agent said no

I tried to do a quick border hop to extend my stay in Thailand. They wouldn't let me back in, and I had to catch an expensive flight out that night. How do you plan your visas to dodge this mess?

Yikes... that's rough but honestly not too surprising anymore. I just get a proper tourist visa before I go now, saves the headache. Those border agents really crack down on back-to-back visa runs these days.

Back to back visa runs... man, that's like trying to use the same "my dog ate my homework" excuse every single week. Of course the teacher is gonna catch on. Those border agents have seen it all, they probably have a bingo card for common excuses. Next time just get the real visa, saves you from playing lottery with a last minute flight.
